Stadium Information

St Andrews was opened in 1906 and became Birmingham City's replacement home after they moved from their previous ground - Muntz Street.

In 1993 rebuilding of the entire ground (other than the main stand) began and the Stadium was converted to an all-seater.

Birmingham did not enter the FA Cup in 1921 as the secretary forgot to send the forms in!

Birmingham have only won one major trophy - the League Cup in 1963 under the guidance of Gill Merrick, who had what was previously know as 'The Railway Stand' named after him in 2009.
