Stockport County Club Formed in 1883

Edgeley Park is the home of Stockport County Football Club and Sale Sharks Rugby Union club. It is now over 100 years old and has seen on its hallowed turf many of football's greats, including George Best who played for Stockport County in 1975. The ground is built in the classical Northern style with the more recently added Cheadle End (which seats 5000) providing a modern aspect and keeping Edgeley Park as a stadium full of atmosphere and fit for modern requirements.
